Why apply for EBAC accreditation?

There are several reasons for applying for EBAC accreditation. The two main ones are that

• The accredited CME activity distinguishes itself from other educational activities proposed to
  the medical audience by the fact that its quality has been confirmed by a Board of Specialist widely recognized in the field of cardiology.
  
  
• Many European countries are already running CME systems for physicians, some of which are
  obligatory. Doctors often prefer to attend accredited meetings and then use the "earned " CME credits while reporting to their Accreditation Authority;

	Who can apply for EBAC accreditation?

For the provision of quality CME events EBAC will recognize national and international medical societies,
universities and their associated working groups or affiliated societies, teaching hospitals. Accreditation of CME
Programmes presented by professional health education organizations will be considered individually.

To be eligible for EBAC accreditation, other organizers, individual cardiologists or groups of cardiologists,
working in conjunction with commercial organizations, should work in cooperation with, or within the structure of those scientifically recognized organisms.
