Choosing an accredited CME
activity |
 |
 |
An accredited CME activity, may be an event,
a distance-based learning course or
a web-based CME programme. The major advantage of these CME activities
is their evaluation by an independent board of experts. Accreditation
institutions (called boards, committees, authorities etc) assess
CME programmes according to
defined criteria and procedures.
Doctors participating in accredited CME activities can be assured
that the programme's quality has been proven, and accepted by, the
authority granting accreditation.

EBAC accredits quality events |
 |
 |
Following our policy on transparency, all EBAC accreditation
criteria and procedures are available on our website. Our concern
for maintaining a high quality of international CME demands that
providers of EBAC accredited activities adhere to our requirements.
If an activity has not fully met EBAC requirements, please let
us know. EBAC accreditation is a quality service for you as a
member of the medical community and therefore we wish to improve
it with respect to the community's needs and expectations.
